Two-time Canadian Paralympian and Right To Play Ambassador, Ashley Gowanlock of Surrey, BC, has embarked on a new adventure – publishing her very first book. Aptly titled “My Opportunities Just Dress Up As Obstacles” - it is an intimate look at Gowanlock’s personal journey. Full of hilarity and heart-warming moments, it chronicles the challenges she’s faced in dealing with Cerebral Palsy, a condition she was diagnosed with at just two years of age.
