Ottawa May 23, 2013 --- Para-Equestrian athlete, Roberta Sheffield, represented Canada for the first time at the CPEDI3* in Mannheim, DE, May 3-7th, 2013 and most recently at the CPEDI3* in Roosendaal, NL, May 15-18, 2013. Sheffield started her international career in 2012 riding for Great Britain and now competes for Canada.

March 28, 2013 — Para-Equestrian Canada, in partnership with Sport Canada, encourages the participation of riders with a disability to participate in competition through a grant program.

March 19, 2013 — The Canadian Para-Equestrian Team has kicked-off their 2013 season with a big win at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival WEF Dressage Classic CPEDI3*. Not only were they victorious in the team competition, but the Canadians riders also won 10 of the 15 classes offered at the international competition which was held at the lovely Palm Beach International Equestrian Center, March 14–17, in Wellington, FL .

August 19, 2012 — Canadian Paralympic Equestrian Team members Lauren Barwick, Eleonore Elstone, Ashley Gowanlock and Jody Schloss achieved outstanding success, winning seven of the 12 classes they entered, at the Bishop Burton College CPEDI2*, held from August 17-19, 2012 in East Yorkshire, GBR.

 May 4, 2012—Canadian Paralympian Lauren Barwick was victorious in all of her Grade 2 classes at the Houston Dressage Society 2012 Spring Classic CPEDI 3* held in Katy, TX, April 26-29, 2012.

February 28, 2012—Jane James of Duncan, BC, has been elected as Chair of the Canadian Para-Equestrian Committee (CPEC) for the 2012–2013 term.

January 29, 2012—The winning ways of the Canadian Para-Equestrian Team have started in 2012 the same way they finished in 2011—with victory. The Team win was not the only success of the Canadian riders at the Gold Coast Dressage Opener CPEDI3*, held at the Jim Brandon Equestrian Centre in West Palm Beach, FLA, January 19-22, they also won eight of the 16 classes offered.

  December 11, 2011 — Canadian Para-Equestrian riders Lauren Barwick, Eleonore Elstone and Ashley Gowanlock won not only the team competition, which moved Canada into fourth place in the world, but were also victorious in eight of nine classes, posting scores that were all 70% or higher, in their stellar appearance at CPEDI 3* Arruda dos Vinhos in Portugal, held December 2–4, 2011.
