Jump Canada Competition Venue Development Fund

The Concept

The fund will reimburse show organizers, or geographic groups of competitions that re-invest in their competition facilities to enhance the showing experience and conditions for competitors and their horses. Jump Canada hopes to subsidize projects by partnering with provincial organizations and competition organizers.

Funds Available

Jump Canada has set aside a total of $5,000 for this program in 2013. A committee will review the applications. The funds will be divided amongst the applications that the committee feels will have the most positive impact on competition improvement and the competitors showing experience.

Examples of programs

• Equipment
• Purchase of jumps and safety cups
• Development of natural obstacles – bank, grob
• Enhancements to competition facilities

Facilities

• Improvements to footing
• Improvement to stabling on competition grounds

Applications

All applicants must complete the application form and submit with BONA FIDE RECEIPTS by deadline.


No funds will be authorized for future plans or programs; the program is only to reimburse organizers for funds spent in the calendar year 2013.
