Short List Criteria for Jumping 2015

1.1 Qualification for the 2015 Short List commences January 1st, 2014 and ends November 30th, 2014 according to the following criteria.

1.2 The 2015 short list will become effective December 1, 2014 and will include riders in the following order:Eric Lamaze (© Cealy Tetley)

a) The 4 riders that competed in the World Equestrian Games, Normandy, FRA September 1-7, 2014

b) The 5th riders named and traveling to the World Equestrian Games, Normandy, FRA September 1-7, 2014

c) After taking into account a) and b) above, the remaining Canadian Riders up to a total of 20 will be named in order of preference based on the FEI Longines Jumping Riders’ World Ranking list, as of December 1st, 2014.

1.3 Riders that are not short listed may still ride in Team competitions at the approval of Selection Committee.

1.4 Riders that do not complete the season may be taken off the list at any time by the Selection Committee depending on individual circumstances.

The short list, under exceptional circumstances, may be extended at the discretion of the Selection Committee.

1.6 The Short List will be officially named after December 1st, 2014.

1.7 All riders must be Equine Canada Competitive License holders in good standing with Equine Canada in order to be named or remain on the Short List.

1.8 All Short Listed riders will be required to sign an Athlete Agreement and submit a detailed Competitive Program Plan.
