CFIA Notice to Industry — Importing horses from the United States
Canadians are reminded to check Canada's import requirements before arriving at the Canadian border with their horses. Import requirements are in place to protect human and animal health and may change at any time in response to an animal disease outbreak in another country. Failure to meet import requirements could result in delays at the border, or denial of entry.
 
Para-Equestrian Athletes Named for 2015 Adequan/FEI North American Junior and Young Rider Championships
The Para-Equestrian Canada High Performance Committee is pleased to announce the talented young athletes who will represent Canada in the Para-Dressage portion of the 2015 Adequan/FEI North American Junior and Young Rider Championship (NAJYRC), set to take place July 14-19, 2015 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY.

Canadian Dressage Team Kicks Pan Am Prep into High Gear at Deer Ridge Equestrian
It’s perhaps the ultimate way to celebrate Canada Day – getting ready to represent your country at one of the most prestigious sporting events around. That’s how the Canadian dressage team will be spending the nation’s birthday, kicking off an intensive training camp in advance of the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, Ontario.

In early July, all members of the team, including alternate Shannon Dueck, who trains out of Loxahatchee, Florida, will test their limits against the stunning backdrop of Deer Ridge Equestrian, located just 15 minutes from the equestrian venue for the Games, the OLG Caledon Pan Am Equestrian Park in Caledon, ON.

On Saturday, the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) and Equine Canada (EC) announced the Canadian Equestrian Team (CET) athletes who have been nominated to represent Canada at the TORONTO 2015 Pan American Games, taking place July 10-26, 2015 in Toronto, ON.
