An extraordinary performance by Chris von Martels at the Toronto 2015 Pan Am Games and Naima Moreira Laliberté's incredible showing at the 2015 Adequan/FEI North American Junior and Young Rider Championships (NAJYRC) earlier this month, have resulted in both athletes being named as Dressage Canada's Red Scarf Equestrian Athletes of the Month for July.

Equine Canada’s new Owners Club made a grand impression at the TORONTO 2015 Pan American Games.

The predominant purpose of the Owners Club is to demonstrate recognition and appreciation of the incredible support horse owners provide to the Canadian Equestrian Team (CET). Therefore, EC set out to give back to owners in meaningful ways, providing meaningful experiences at major games, visibility through communications efforts, and exclusive perks. In addition, the Owners Club was created to help facilitate networking opportunities in support of the CET on the world stage.

Nadya Bissett, a seven-year-old equestrian enthusiast, received a golden ticket to the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am Games after winning a draw for two Jumping Team Finals tickets held as part of the Horse Day 2015 Kids Drawing Contest.

Ian Millar Ends Record Tenth Pan Am Appearance as Top Canadian

Equestrian competition officially came to a close at the TORONTO 2015 Pan American Games with the individual final in show jumping taking place on Saturday, July 25, at the OLG Caledon Pan Am Equestrian Park in Caledon, ON. Ten-time Canadian Olympian Ian Millar of Perth, ON, hometown athlete Yann Candele of Caledon, ON, and 2008 Olympic Champion Eric Lamaze of Schomberg, ON, contested the individual final for Canada.

Canadian Show Jumping Team Clears Opening Day of Pan Am Competition

Four clear rounds were posted on opening day of show jumping competition by Canada’s Yann Candele of Caledon, ON, Tiffany Foster of North Vancouver, BC, Eric Lamaze of Schomberg, ON, and Ian Millar of Perth, ON. The first of three days of show jumping competition at the TORONTO 2015 Pan American Games took place July 21 at the OLG Caledon Pan Am Equestrian Park in Caledon, ON.
 
Reminder - Registration Deadline for Educational Course for Eventing Officials, Technical Delegates and Judges is July 23
Eventing officials, technical delegates and judges who wish to participate in an educational course being held in conjunction with the Campbell Valley Horse Trials, August 15-16, 2015 in Langley, B.C. are reminded of the July 23 registration deadline.
