August 16, 2008, Hong Kong, China – Ashley Holzer of Toronto, ON, placed 15th in Saturday’s Grand Prix Special to qualify for the Individual Final at the 2008 Olympic Games in Hong Kong, China. Only the top 15 athletes from an original starting field of 47 qualify to contest the Grand Prix Freestyle, which acts as the Individual Final.

August 14, 2008, Hong Kong, China – Ashley Holzer of Toronto, ON, placed 19th in Thursday’s Grand Prix Dressage competition to qualify for the individual competition at the 2008 Olympic Games in Hong Kong, China.

August 13, 2008, Hong Kong, China—Leslie Reid of Langley, BC, was the first competitor for the Canadian Team on the opening day of Dressage competition on Wednesday, August 13, at the 2008 Olympic Games.

August 12, 2008, Hong Kong, China – The Canadian Eventing Team finished its Olympic bid in ninth place on Tuesday night at the Sha Tin venue in Hong Kong, China.  Sandra Donnelly of Calgary, AB, was the top-placed Canadian, finishing in 31st place individually.

August 11, 2008, Hong Kong, China – Kyle Carter of Calgary, AB, is the top Canadian following cross-country, the second of three phases comprising the equestrian sport of eventing, at the 2008 Olympic Games.  Carter is in 32nd position individually while the Canadian Eventing Team is in ninth position overall.

August 10, 2008, Hong Kong, China – Selena O’Hanlon, 27, of Elgin, ON, is the top-ranked member of the Canadian Eventing Team following the opening phase of dressage at the 2008 Olympic Games.  Equestrian events are being held at the Sha Tin venue in Hong Kong.
