The 2010 Equine Canada Annual Convention is set for February 1-8, 2010 at the Le Centre Sheraton Montreal Hotel in Montreal, QC. For nine days, the equine community from across Canada will be able to participate in a selection of clinics, seminars and forums tailored to the unique issues affecting each of Equine Canada’s three divisions —Sport, Recreation and Breeds & Industry.

Clinic sessions boast a Jumper Judges’ Clinic with FEI Level—I judge Tom Michiel; a Hunter, Equitation and Hack Judges’ Clinic with EC Senior Judge Barbara Mitchell; and a general stewards’ clinic with EC/FEI Steward Jan Stephens. Also scheduled is a two-day hunter/jumper course design clinic featuring speakers Chris Brandt and Evie Frisque, both EC Senior Course Designers, and a Para-Equestrian Canada Coaching Clinic with CanTRA Coach, Examiner and EC Certified Level I Coach, Jane James.
The 2010 Convention will also play host to the 2009 Equine Canada National Awards Gala, taking place Saturday evening, February 7. Join Equine Canada for this full evening of fine dining and entertainment, and help recognize contributions to the industry as we honour our national award winners. Equine Canada's most prestigious awards including Equestrian of the Year, Junior Equestrian of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Lifetime Achievement Award, Equine Canada/Just Add Horses Environment Award and Equine Canada Sponsor of the Year—will be presented during the gala dinner.
